Golden Gate Bridge - 75 Years

This weekend marks the celebration of the Golden Gate Bridge turning 75 years old! There are going to be all kinds of celebrations going on in the Presidio and Fort Point. For a list of activities you can go here!

I hope everyone has an amazing three day Memorial weekend with their loved ones!  We are going to be celebrating my nephew's graduation, having a swim and dinner party with friends and hopefully sneaking in a day trip to Point Reyes or Muir Woods!  What are all of you up to?

Seven Years.....

Seven years ago I married the most amazing man and seven years later I still love him more and more everyday.  Carlos - I love the life that we have built together! You are an amazing husband, father and friend! I love you!

P.S. We had a wonderful staycation this past weekend in San Francisco while my parents watched the bambinos.  I can't wait to share more of it with you later in the week!

Happy Monday!

I had the privilege of attending Rue Magazine's first anniversary party at H.D. Buttercup on Monday night.  I fell in love with the online publication back in October and always find myself waiting with anticipation for the next issue to come out!  Their anniversary issue is coming out soon, but you can check out a preview of it here

I had never been to H.D. Buttercup's showroom before, but it is amazing!  I wanted SO many things in there.  I was ready to back up the truck to my house, empty it out and then take it over to H.D. Buttercup to fill it back up!  Gorgeous and unique pieces!  Chandeliers, unique art and fun lamps are just the tip of the iceberg.  If you live in San Francisco or in Los Angeles, you should definitely check them out!

The Rue girls went all out at this party!  Not only was it in a fabulous setting, there were two delicious food trucks (I ate at Le Truc), creme puffs from Beard Papa, a photo booth and of course bars stocked with champers and cocktails.

Happy Anniversary Rue!  Can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you!

P.S. Gilt City San Francisco just came out with a tastemaker program where Anne and Crystal are curating some of their favorite experiences in San Francisco (restaurants, wineries, boutiques, concerts, etc).  I already purchased the Dailey Method classes to help me kick off losing this baby weight!  If you are not a member of Gilt City San Francisco, sign up here to get your first purchase at 40% off of the already discounted price!  Happy Shopping!

P.S.S. I wore my Tsubo boots to the event and I have to report back that they were very comfortable.  I thought that after standing in them for over three hours, that my feet would be killing me, but they didn't hurt at all!

Six Years Later...

We took the bambinos over to Fort Mason for a picnic on Saturday.  May 21st was our 6th wedding anniversary.  We were married at Fort Mason Chapel and then had our cocktail hour at The Starlight Room and our reception in one of the big ballrooms at Sir Francis Drake.

It was incredibly windy on Saturday, so even though the weather was in the lower 70's, it was quite cool. It was still really special to be back at the chapel with the kids while pregnant with number three.  I can't believe that it has been six years already.  LOOK HOW YOUNG we looked....I guess that is what almost three kids will do to you!

Mimi and Papa came in the evening to babysit for us and we headed to Michael Mina for dinner. I will post more on that later!  I still feel like the luckiest girl around to be married to Carlos. He is the most amazing, kind, loving and giving husband and father that I know.  Here is to a lifetime of happiness!

The two wedding pictures were taken by Andrew Weeks Photography and the one of us with the painting behind us is at Bistro Aix at our rehearsal dinner (one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants besides Frascati).
